Some facts about LED lamps
LED lamps are semiconductors that convert electricity into white light. The main elements of such lamps are optical system, LED and semiconductor chip. The chemical composition of the latter affects the spectral characteristics of the lighting.

In fact, there are two types of white light production using LEDs. The first method is widely distributed and includes an additive blending of green, blue and red. The second method of producing LED light is less popular. It was invented in Japan in the late 90-ies of the last century and lies in the emission of light by coating blue diode with white phosphorus.
For comparison - one LED bulb consumes electricity 10 times less than a standard bulb of 100 W.
Normative life of LED lamp is up to 10 years or up to 50 thousand hours.
